Hello,

is GIMP still program number one to go to when working on a graphics? I was out of loop for quite a few years but I am back to the world of graphics designing, currently with a pixel graphics project. I used to work with GIMP and it was a very fruitful collaboration despite some difficulty spikes. GIMP does not have the friendliest UI on the planet. Before my work progress moves too far, could you please advise on a tool? Is GIMP still a way to go or am I missing out on an application or two?
