Yes, it depends from your server side script code optimization. Optimize the code please to reduce the CPU usage.

I am using wordpress, I dont think i can do anything further..although support suggested me to use robots.txt to block the bots from accessing my file and that might stop the load.
34  50Webs Services / Support questions (Paid plans). / Cpu Load on: August 08, 2008, 11:44:24 PM
Here is my screenshot of cpuload for this month

At the start of this month, my site started getting a lot of traffic and i found out the cpu load has increased too, and my account gets blocked every 2-3 days.
I was wondering does traffic has anything to do with load? Can i decrease the load. if so what steps should i take?

May be if you can install "Textual Confirmation  mod" in this forum, the Spam bots wont be able to register and in that way, if they cant register, they cant post.

I have used the same mod in my forum, and haven't seen any spam bots registering and I am pretty happy with it.
All it does is adds a question to register page like what is 4+6 or you can add your own, if they answer it correctly, they can register, otherwise they wont be able to register.

Hi

My plan allows total of 50,000 files to be saved. Right now it shows 49909 files being used under my Account Usage ,
If i go to add services, i dont see any option where i can get more files storage.

I think my account is goona run out of files. What options do I have?
It says 91 files available for now.

Thanks for helping me out

Edit:deleted some files, back to 1k

Hello again,

If you access the website with index.php it gives error again. I haven't made any changes, how do i fix it?

1. Login to your free plan account
2. Navigate to "Add / Manage Websites"
3. Locate your website in the list
4. Click on host it in your paid account beside the host.

* You may need to turn off the paid account hosting and then come back 30 minutes later and renable it.

Seems to be some server update that breaks this. Perhaps Xylem can investigate.

Thanks, i did that...

I have another question, one of my mysql databases was hacked and i want to know if 50webs have backup of databases? i contacted support and they said they dont have the backup, is there anything else i can do?

Thanks again

43  50Webs Services / Support questions (Free plan). / Help using GoDaddy Domains with 50webs! on: July 14, 2008, 08:11:47 PM
Hi Franco
First of all, Welcome to 50webs Forum

As you asked,
Go to Godaddy, Log in, Click on Domains on top and then under Management & Renewals, click on My Domains.

Select www.webduamis.com, and as Jonathan said, look for Nameservers, click on "Nameservers" , then select Custom nameservers and enter

DNS1.50WEBS.COM in Nameserver 1's field and
DNS2.50WEBS.COM in Nameserver 2's field and click ok.

And wait sometime and you will be able to add the domain. Smiley

I have changed it back to host in this account.
I will wait some time and see what happens

Thanks for the quick response
